(stamp size 1.75" x 2.75")Varykino, also known as the Lake Retreat, was the name of the island in the Lake Country of Naboo that consisted of the Naberrie family's retreat house. Generally, the name "Varykino" was also applied to the villa itself.
Carved back in November, '06, this idyllic stamp of a place out of the Star Wars universe traveled the country as part of a postal ring called Puttin' on the Ritz, hosted by yours truly.

That's such a pretty image -- I love the way you compose the elements of your stamps . . . even your borders have that SHH touch.
