I have been consumed with thoughts about friendship the past few days. It has always been an obsession with me - what makes a friendship? How can I be a better friend? To these questions, I have no answers, just thoughts.
To that end, I want to thank all the friends who read this blog - you are a precious gift of which I am so very thankful.

You most certainly have shown me what a true friend is, my dear - I can't even begin to tell you what your friendship means to me.
Love the carve!
:o)
Okay, I'm going to have to break out this T.S.Eliot quote. I apologize for its length in advance, but I really like it.
"You do not know how much they mean to me, my friends, and how, how rare and strange it is, to find in a life composed so much of odds and ends . . . to find a friend who has these qualities, who has, and gives those qualities upon which friendship lives. How much it means that I say this to you - without these friendships - life, what cauchemar."
I wonder just how many lives have been "sans cauchemar" because their paths have crossed yours.
[Yes, I had to look up cauchemar . . . it's French for 'nightmare.']
Thank you, my friend.
