Material Girl

After posting my graduation pic on my other blog, I felt compelled to post this carve of that photo. I used this sig-stamp for quite a while, and it was one of the first portrait stamps that I felt really good about. I think I like the carve far better than the actual photo!

'Material Girl' is in reference to my being an 80's girl - I graduated in 1983. I was inspired to carve this sig-stamp for a postal ring featuring all things 80's. Unfortunately, I think I was the oldest participant because most of the other contributions to the ring were carves of 80's toys! Ha!
