One from the way-back machine that is oh-so-appropriate for today. Since our experience yesterday with the boys' wild ride on their bikes, some bicycle stamps were in order. I have only carved a couple of them; the first was a hitchhiker carved in honor of Alex' seventh birthday and the second was planted as a traditional. Both these stamps are good examples of my early carving.
Surprisingly, I didn't have a clean print of the stamp in my portfolio, but had to track this one down in my first boxin' logbook. Back then I didn't care about having lines running through the stamped image...boy how things change!
If you want to read about the boys' wild ride, it's here.
