Give me a minute while I catch up...

For the past few days I have been struggling with my new computer. Absolutely everything is tweaked...so much so that every little task is difficult, time-consuming and challenging. I have discovered programs that I have to re-purchase and new sequences for getting things published. I have a new keyboard which is just a squishy mess - does anyone like these soft-touch keys? I like to 'bang things out' and the click-stop type of keyboard just suits me better, I guess. And to make matters worse, I lost all my iTunes music library in the change-over. Can you tell I'm a little frustrated?

I am trying to maintain my blog postings through this situation. In order to post my carvings here on this blog, I need to scan them. Last week, without warning, my printer decided that it would no longer scan anything. Consequently, I now have a new printer/scanner, as well. With so much new equipment, I am experiencing a serious learning curve. However, the software I used to crop and prep those scanned images for posting is now unusable on the new computer. Ugh!

Good things I can say about this situation: I like my new wireless mouse. *smile* And I do like Windows 7 - it's so fast!

So, if I don't post in the usual manner (three times a week), you know why. I am doing everything in my power to maintain, but sheesh!

I know how frustrating this is for you, my dear! Still hoping our favorite IT guy can recover your music... :o/

Love that pic, by the way! :o)

I'm praying for a quick resolution with that music problem. Worth the wait for glimpses of your work . . . always.
