Like to Gather?

Well, as of this posting, the talented and beautiful Mama Cache is visiting with us here in the PNW. In her honor, a few of us local 'boxers will be gathering to exchange sig-stamps, shmooze and eat chips & salsa at a local mexican restaurant. I won't spoil the fun and the surprise by posting the event stamp, at least not yet, but here are a couple of oldies but goodies from past events.

This one doesn't seem that long ago, but it was from the first annual Nat'l Day of Planting. Carved to send around the country to those who committed to planting on this very first nation-wide planting extravaganza, it traveled for quite a long time!

The stamp below was kind of a companion event meant to encourage planting mystery boxes in the same manner as Nat'l Day of Planting. Unfortunately, I don't think as many wanted to take part...too bad. So many really do enjoy a good mystery letterbox. Anyway, this one traveled the country, as well, and was accompanied by a small tin containing several different fun carves of question marks. They're hangin' around in my craftroom somewhere...

I wish I could come meet you but I'm too far away and too busy to be able to pop up. Have fun, everybody!!
