Muslim Bride

stamp size 3" x 2.25"

My latest portrait. Carved from a photograph entitled Muslim Bride, it was taken by Shelton Muller. I have had this image sitting in my 'wish to carve' file for probably a year or more. She is strikingly beautiful, certainly, and the skill of the photographer is unmistakable. As is usually the case, translating to rubber all the emotion of color and lighting is most difficult.
