Jedi Wisdom

(actual size 2.5" x 3.25")

I have carved this particular Yoda a couple of times; once without the quote for a (now retired) traditional letterbox series and this one that I used for an LTC. The quote is from an excellent Star Wars novel, Dark Rendezvous by Sean Stewart.

The next carve is one of my favorites. It is a little known Jedi object called a holocron. The holders of great amounts of Jedi knowledge and wisdom, they are clear cubes that light from the inside. I was thrilled when I finished carving this one (a few years ago, now) that it kinda looked 3-D. My Jedi buddy and I have also made these props for conventions...fun!

Having just read a saying that was quoted by your sweet daughter, I change it a little to read, "Carve what you love; love what you carve."
