Ready to Gather?

I get asked occasionally if I would be willing to carve a stamp for an event far from home. There is usually no way for me to attend the event, but it is fun to be a part of the festivities through my carving!

The stamp featured below I carved for my faraway friends Mudflinginfools and Teacup, who are out in the beautiful state of Maine. I have to admit, it is difficult to carve for an event in a place I have never visited. I would love to visit Maine, but I don't know that you could get farther away from Seattle without getting wet! Anyway, MFF and Teacup gave me ideas and I came up with the design. It was a fun carve and I am sure it was a fab-o event, as well.

a rather large stamp, 3" x 3.5"

I may be wrong, but I think they made this design into a patch - how fun!

stamp size 2.25" across

Very cool, my friend! I remember you doing that one - I have a little shrinky dink of it still! :o)

What a gift! You are a master of collage -- love the composition. Especially enjoyed the boat name, too. ;-)
