No tickling allowed.

Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw represent! Yes, we attended the very clever and fun "Never Tickle a Sleeping Dragon" letterboxing event in Boise, Idaho, hosted by none other than the indomitable Music Chick. Wow, what a ride! With over 200 amazing stamps to collect, eye-popping event stamps, Harry Potter-themed puzzles to solve, and 25 fantastic boxers to meet, Obimaster and I had a wonderful time! It was my first event in decades, and Obimaster's first ever!

We took two days to travel to Boise from Ocean Shores, and we had too much fun boxing and planting along the way. In fact, we planted more than we found, if you can believe that. And we stopped at just about every rest stop, historic marker, and scenic viewpoint we came to. We even found this relic ...

Here are some of the snaps we captured from our HP-flavored adventure:

I just can't resist late summer blooms!

So, we were on the Old Oregon Trail most of the way,
but when we weren't, we were on the Lewis & Clark Trail!

definitely picture-worthy - beautiful

yep, I found it!

my favorite thing - road trips in the sunshine!!

smile!

Music Chick and Crazy Mountain Woman are some of the
most clever letterboxing witches I know! I guess Hufflepuff
just knows how to get things done! :)

There were some great letterboxers present -
It was great to meet and stamp beside them all!

now, here are some famous letterboxers - Kurious Jo and Wood Aug
representing Slytherin and Gryffindor!

Representing Ravenclaw, Obimaster is on task

Flame of Udun and Ddraig contributed many jaw-dropping stamps for the event.

This was my favorite - it was the prof sign-off sheet for completing
each of the classes. I am considering poppin' this into a frame
for my office :)

And, hope I don't catch heat for this one, but these
event stamps were amazing!

Many thanks to Music Chick, Crazy Mountain Woman, and Rydeswitheagles for their tireless efforts to make this event a success! We really had a great time and it was a great way to get back into attending events.

Our drive home was a break-neck 9-hour drive back to the Washington Coast, but man it was all worth it!
